Play to Learn - Early Intervention Group

“Play to Learn” – Early Intervention Groups

The Play to Learn – Early Intervention Group is for children 18 months through 3 years of age.

The play to learn group incorporates Speech and Occupational Therapy in a group setting. The group is designed to target Speech/Language skills along with motor development. Physical activity has been proven to stimulate the human brain. The play to learn group believes in this philosophy by incorporating the motor development with support by Occupational Therapy and the Speech/Language development with support by Speech-Language Therapy.

The benefits of combining occupational and speech therapy through a group environment may lead to increased socialization activities such as sharing, taking turns, and good sportsmanship during games. The group may also decrease negative behaviors associated with sharing, taking turns and sportsmanship.

If you child experiences difficulties in any of the areas listed above please contact us for more information.
